Cross-Training Contract Sections Opt-In, Opt-Out

16.4.C.3 – 7 years from the date of completion of academy training.

16.4.C.6.(d) – requiring all those with 7 year contract to opt out in accordance with 16.4.C.6.(a).

16.4.C.6.(a) states you can opt out on July 1 or February 1 closest to the date of your 7 year anniversary.

To opt out on July 1, you must submit notice by the preceding March.

To opt out on February 1, you must submit notice by the preceding October.

If you completed the academy around June of 2015, you would opt out in July by submitting notice in March.
